Shenzhen Airlines’ inaugural flight ZH335 landed at the Penang airport in Malaysia at noon July 28, marking the official launch of the new route between Shenzhen and Penang.

Flight ZH335, scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, departs from the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport at 8:10 a.m. and lands in Penang at 12 p.m. The return flight, ZH336, takes off at 1 p.m. and arrives in Shenzhen at 4:40 p.m.

Following this inaugural flight, the Shenzhen airport, in partnership with the Penang airport and local tourism authorities, held a promotional conference to showcase Shenzhen Airlines’ Southeast Asian flight network. So far, the airline has established routes to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Penang, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Phnom Penh.

Penang is an island-state off the northwestern coast of Malaysia. It is known for its rich multicultural history and renowned as Malaysia’s “food paradise.”
