Following the opening of the Shenzhong Link on Sunday afternoon, a new express bus service commenced. The first bus, carrying more than 20 passengers, departed from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport’s Zhongshan Terminal and arrived at Terminal 3 of the Shenzhen airport in just 20 minutes.
Additionally, an express bus service linking Jiangmen and Shenzhen began operations Sunday, significantly enhancing connectivity across the Pearl River Delta.
Discussing the benefits of the Shenzhong Link, a passenger from Zhongshan surnamed Fan said: “It’s become very convenient to travel to the Shenzhen airport. Previously, traveling to Shenzhen involved many detours and usually took about two and a half hours. Now, I save at least two hours.”
To enhance passenger convenience and expand their customer base, airport operator Shenzhen Airport Co. has collaborated with the Shenzhen Bus Group to introduce a shuttle bus service that includes 10 deluxe buses operating 72 round trips daily, perfectly aligning with the airport’s flight schedule
The Shenzhen-Jiangmen route offers 24 round trips per day, with each trip taking just over an hour each way. The Jiangmen Terminal is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to reopen before the end of the year.
In the future, starting from the Shenzhen airport and using the Shenzhong Link, it will take 30 minutes to reach Nansha District, Guangzhou and Zhongshan, one hour to reach Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Foshan, and Shunde, and two hours to reach Yangjiang and Zhaoqing.
Currently, the Shenzhen airport provides international flights to more than 40 destinations around the world.
