Hong Kong residents can now access more than 60 public services provided by 11 Hong Kong government authorities and departments through a self-service machine in the Electronic One-stop Service Center in Qianhai.
This new system eliminates the need for individuals to return to Hong Kong, streamlining the service process.
The machine offers services that cover a wide range of areas that include taxation, company registration, property and vehicle inquiries and registration, obtaining personal certificates, talent immigration applications, welfare and education services, health care, entry-exit checks, emergency assistance, and handling culture and tourism-related affairs.
The self-service machine enables Hong Kong residents to input their details, scan required documents, and print acceptance results, simplifying the process of accessing various government services in a convenient and efficient one-stop manner.
Furthermore, the iAM Smart self-service registration station has been launched in Qianhai. This station facilitates registration, upgrades, and other procedures for Hong Kong residents living and working on the mainland who wish to access the iAM Smart government service platform.
Through this station, users can access a wide array of online services such as applying for an international driving permit, utilizing eTax and eHealth services, accessing student subsidies, and managing electricity and gas services.
