Gathering some 5,500 exhibitors in 13 exhibition halls, the 32nd China (Shenzhen) International Gifts, Handicrafts, Watches & Houseware Fair opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District on Thursday.

Jekin Chheda, a buyer from India, lauded the fair as an excellent destination for sourcing customized gifts.

Chheda said he was looking for customized gift products for corporate clients at the fair. The Indian buyer, who also attended the on-going 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) in Guangzhou, noted that while the Shenzhen fair may not match the Canton Fair in scale, it excels at specializing in gifts.

“To me, this gift fair is unique. I can find exactly what I need here,” Chheda shared with Shenzhen Daily, emphasizing the fair’s niche appeal and the ease with which he can locate sought-after products.

Spanning an impressive 260,000 square meters of exhibition space, the four-day event showcases an eclectic array of over 30 product categories. These include exquisite handicrafts, cutting-edge digital devices, electrical appliances, kitchen supplies, home decorations, food, and a diverse range of cultural and creative products designed to appeal to a global audience.

RX Huabo, the fair’s organizer, has introduced innovative changes to the exhibition layout, emphasizing the pivotal role of new quality productive forces. The fair boasts several themed exhibition areas that place a premium on the design value of products, their cultural significance, as well as innovation and creativity.

The Shenzhen gift fair, now in its 32nd edition, stands as a beacon for the gift and handicrafts industries in China, drawing international buyers and industry professionals who not only source products but also seek to be inspired by the latest trends and advancements in the market.
