Tea culture festival launched in Qianhai
Representatives from over 200 tea brands and beverage enthusiasts gathered at the New Tea Drinking Culture Festival in Qianhai last week.
The festival, which will continue through mid-November, aims to cultivate a cultural ambiance for enjoying new tea drinks in Qianhai through a range of activities and various channels.
During the event, Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, will employ different methods such as traffic and subsidies to boost online transactions and promote tea drink merchants to achieve new heights. Additionally, Douyin will collaborate with renowned tea drink brands in Shenzhen, such as NAIXUE and Decameron, to provide tea drink coupons, new product coupons, festival-themed packages, and other offerings at various stores in Qianhai.
To encourage consumption among Hong Kong residents, the festival has established an offline themed venue at the Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint. Here, discounted group purchase products are available, incentivizing them to visit tea drink stores in Qianhai.
Yuan Fuyong, vice director of the Qianhai Authority, emphasized Qianhai’s strong commitment to the new tea beverage industry. In the future, Qianhai plans to offer more cultural consumption experiences and activities to foster the development of new tea drinks and related creative industries in the area.
