ICIF to feature digital livestreamers
Artificial intelligence (AI) will be a prominent feature at the upcoming 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF), where AI digital hosts will be introduced to provide livestreams for visitors.
The AI digital livestreamers will be tested at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District on Sunday before the five-day fair takes place June 7.
Two companies, LaiPic (Shenzhen Qianhai Hand-painted Technology and Culture Co. Ltd.) and Nanjing Silicon Intelligence Co. Ltd., will utilize AI technology to create over 100 short videos for news coverage and product promotions, which will be published online.
The companies will produce dozens of virtual humans for Shenzhen News Group, Shenzhen Media Group and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co. Ltd. to host nine-hour livestreaming shows per day during the fair. The livestreams are expected to generate more than 100 million clicks and spark engaging discussions on relevant topics related to ICIF, according to Tang Bolong, director of the network operation center of Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co. Ltd.
Moreover, the livestreams featuring virtual technology offer various scenario options in terms of the livestreamers’ appearances and voices, allowing for flexible adjustments based on the needs of businesses and users.
