A total of 100 young individuals from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao shared six honors and awards at the Fourth GBA Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Awards Ceremony yesterday afternoon that took place simultaneously in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao.

The 100 winners were selected from a pool of over 1,300 applicants and were acknowledged for their achievements in several categories including Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs, Best Entrepreneurship Project, Best Technological Innovation Project, Best Commercial Service Provider, Best Entrepreneur with Social Responsibility, and Best Cultural Creativity Project.

Dr. Choi Koon-shum delivered a speech on behalf of the event organizer, highlighting President Xi Jinping’s instructions on the three strategic roles of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) in the country’s development in the new era. He urged the audience to remain true to their original aspirations and to continue its forward progress.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Lee Ka-chiu also extended his sincere wishes to the award recipients. He expressed his anticipation of witnessing more young people seizing the opportunities offered by the development of the GBA and realizing their dreams.

The event was made possible through the guidance of the United Front Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, and the Authority of the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone. Shenzhen Metro Group Co. Ltd., the Qianhai Belt & Road Legal Services Federation, and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce Qianhai greatly contributed to ensuring the success of the event.
