PwC Qianhai office put into use
The PwC China Qianhai Center of Excellence yesterday officially relocated its office in Qianhai to the 28th floor of Hony Tower, where a ceremony was held to mark the event.
At the ceremony, the Qianhai Authority presented a certificate of appointment to PwC China, which will serve as a consultant for the global investment promotion of Qianhai’s technology innovations. The partnership indicates a deeper strategic cooperation between Qianhai and PwC to boost the development of international economy and trade, finance, and technology in Qianhai.
Sir Charles Bowman, honorary chairman of PwC’s marketing and business department in China and Southeast Asia said he is deeply impressed by the speed and quality of Qianhai's development. “The green, low-carbon, and people-oriented development concepts have been well integrated into urban construction. Qianhai has shown to the world China’s determination to further open up to the outside world. This is an important reason why PwC chose Qianhai and is full of confidence in the future development of Qianhai,” he said.
In 2017, the PwC China Qianhai Center of Excellence was established in Qianhai, which is a comprehensive service platform for PwC to help large enterprises explore business transformation and innovation possibilities, gain insights into key industries and analyze development trends, and empower startups to achieve rapid growth. The center has also been involved in a number of major consulting projects in Qianhai, and has produced important research results in policy research, regional coordinated development, and business environment research, providing proposals for the development of Qianhai, and promoting the optimization and upgrading of the area’s modern service industry.
