Qianhai Stone Park 前海石公园

Qianhai Stone Park has witnessed the vigorous development of Qianhai. It is a leisure park for residents to enjoy the breeze and watch the sea view.

The coastal park is famous for its huge yellow wax stone, the Qianhai Stone, which has the word “Qianhai” engraved on it. The stone is about 2.8 meters high, 2.1 meters wide and 0.65 meters thick, and its shape is like “a sail setting out.”

Qianhai Stone Park is a first-class green space in the public area of Qianhai and will continue to be built into an open urban park that integrates recreational, cultural, landscape, artistic, and ecological functions.

Qianhai Performance and Arts Park 前海演艺公园

The west side of Qianhai Performance and Arts Performance Park faces Qianhai Bay beach, where tourists can enjoy the beautiful sea view. The northwest side of the park is opposite to OH Bay in Bao’an, making it one of the best places to see “Bay Glory,” the giant Ferris wheel. The east and southeast sides are adjacent to the Qianhai financial center complex.

The park has large areas of lawns and many garden plants. Most noteworthy, there is a very unique seaside wetland, surrounded by various flowers and trees, tall tropical coconut groves, and a pond dotted with water lilies. The beautiful scenery of the park is good for tourists to take photos, and it also attracts many couples to take their wedding photos here.

Bauhinia Park 紫荆园

Bauhinia Park is located at the intersection of Liyumen Street and Qianwan Road 1, near the Qianhai International Convention Center. It covers an area of about 26,000 square meters in the first phase and about 20,000 square meters in the second phase. Bauhinia Park is an urban park green space with specific historical significance in Qianhai. It is the first exhibition park in South China to collect, protect and display the special-class plant (Bauhinia), to commemorate the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and to match up with the vibe of the Qianhai International Convention Center.

Guiwan Park 桂湾公园

Guiwan Park is located in the central area of Qianhai and is a brand new urban central park. It is adjacent to the high-density business districts of Guiwan and Qianwan. Guiwan Park covers an east-west strip with a total length of about 2.2 kilometers and a total area of about 520,000 square meters.

The park design adopts a philosophy of maximizing ecological functions by increasing biodiversity, regulating air quality, and improving and managing water quality. In addition, the park design stimulates social vitality by setting up areas for parent-child games, fitness and entertainment, and multi-functional outdoor theater, among other activities, thus providing beautiful scenery and pleasant experiences to citizens.

The park is connected to both river banks through a number of landscape pedestrian bridges, which further strengthen the urban function of the park. The well-designed pedestrian bridges also serves as a landscape, allowing tourists to easily enter the park and go to various spaces in the park.

Qianhai Sports Park 前海运动公园

Qianhai Sports Park is located at the intersection of Menghai Boulevard and Qianwan Road 2, covering a total area of 71,400 square meters. The sports-themed park is built with the purpose of promoting public fitness, and has become a good choice for sports competitions, fitness, daily leisure and ecological sightseeing.

The park design incorporates the concepts of environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction, and sponge city. The ground lawn is equipped with multi-level sponge bodies with water storage, water purification and water release functions. The vegetation coverage rate of the park is 80%. The park is equipped with 3 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 1 standard football field, a circular track, some leisure trails and other sports facilities.

Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park 西湾红树林湿地公园 

The first phase of the Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park is built along the west seawall, with a length of about 705 meters and an area of about 93,000 square meters, of which the land area is about 33,000 square meters and the sea area is about 60,000 square meters. There are 3 sea-view boardwalks, 4 sea-facing steps, and 2 scenic boardwalks, with 19,300 square meters of greenery and 123 parking spaces. The first phase of the park includes a total of 16 tourist attractions.

The design of Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park highlights natural ecology and leisure and recreation. The park has rich Lingnan and coastal elements, and there is a 7.5-kilometer main greenway loop and a 32-hectare wetland park. The Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park is less blocked by high-rises, and the view of the sea area is more vast, compared with Shenzhen Bay Park.

Western Section of the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Belt 深圳湾滨海休闲带西段

The western section of the Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Belt is 6.6 kilometers long, with a tortuous coastline and beautiful scenery. The western section of the coastal leisure belt is divided into four sections, D, E, F and G, from east to west, including more than 10 scenic spots such as Natural Park, Haijian Square, Water View Corridor, Yuehai Square, Lighthouse Square, Yuhai Plank Road, Shekou Garden, Fishing Port Central Park and Pier Park. Walking along the route, tourists can find and enjoy fun at every section of the leisure belt.

Bao’an Coastal Cultural Park (OH Bay)  宝安滨海文化公园(欢乐港湾)

Bao’an Coastal Cultural Park has three main functional zones: the sports-themed zone located in the west of the park, which consists of a children’s park, skate park, and velarium square, and other features; the culture-themed zone located in the middle of the park, which consists of a celebration square, a performing arts center, a light show, and a water show; and the art-themed zone located in the eastern part of the park, which consists of a Ferris wheel square, themed sculptures, and sightseeing bridges. The Bao’an Coastal Cultural Park provides citizens with a public ecological space where they can play water games and enjoy leisure time.

The park has set up 12 steel structure artistic installations, which have unique shape designs and help create a marine atmosphere.

Sihai Park 四海公园

Sihai Park was founded in 1987 with a total area of more than 13,000 square meters. There are 13 main facilities and attractions in the park, such as the “Same Season Garden,” “Flower Viewing Pavilion,” “Wangyu Pavilion,” “Grass Pavilion” and “Rain Shelter Pavilion.” These names demonstrate the characteristics of Lingnan-style gardens, all of which reflect the ingenuity of garden planners and designers. The park has carefully cultivated and protected 619 lychee trees that are nearly 100 years old, and the annual lychee harvest not only supplies a large number of fresh lychee for the market, but also offsets for the park’s financial expenses.

The park has two artificial lakes; the East Lake primarily hosts the cultivating of lotus flowers, and the West Lake is used for water amusement projects. The total area of the two lakes reach 39,600 square meters. Between the two lakes, there is the “Nine-Curved Bridge” built with a structure that imitates the shape of pine trees, the “Jade Belt Bridge” with the characteristics of a Suzhou garden, as well as the small and exquisite “Curved Plate Bridge,” and the “Nine-hole Bridge” that imitates the Beijing Summer Palace.

ShenZhen Waterlands Resort 海上田园 

The ShenZhen Waterlands Resort is located in the middle of the western coastal belt of Bao’an, covering a sea area of 252 hectares in its bay. It is a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot, a demonstration site of national agricultural tourism, a green scenic spot in Shenzhen, and a provincial and municipal science popularization education base. With the theme of ecology, leisure and health, after years of development, The ShenZhen Waterlands Resort has become an eco-tourism resort integrating tourism, leisure vacations, ecological science popularization, conference training and other functions.

Lakes, streams, forests, and green grass are densely distributed in the scenic spot. Tourists can see characteristic mangrove wetland landscapes and a Lingnan-style dike-pond and farmland. They can also pick melons and fruits and experience the fun of fishing.

There are many entertainment projects in the scenic area. In addition to participating in farming activities in the farmyard, tourists can have fun by playing water games and making clay sculptures. The floating market is also a highlight where you can find many antique shops.

Yueliangwan Park 月亮湾公园

Yueliangwan Park is located in the west of the Shenzhen Dananshan Mountain Reform and Opening Up Memorial Park. The shape of the park resembles a half-moon. The total land area of the park is more than 280,000 square meters, and the stream in the park is babbling and the forest and woods are green. The main tree species in the park is the lychee. There are more than 3,800 ancient lychee trees that are more than 100 years old. It is a group of ancient lychees with a large preservation range in Shenzhen.

Dananshan Mountain Park 大南山公园

Dananshan Mountain Park is located at the southern end of Shekou Peninsula in Nanshan District and is adjacent to Nanhai Boulevard in the east, with a total area of about 352 hectares. It consists of two peaks, the main peak Dananshan is 336 meters above sea level, and the altitude of Guishan, the second peak is 275 meters above sea level. It is a low hilly landform feature, and the mountain goes north to south. The mountain has a low elevation and is easy to climb, is covered with lush forests, and the scenery is pleasant. The whole of Shenzhen Bay can be seen as a panoramic view, and you can see the Nanshan Peninsula in the distance.

Xiaonanshan Mountain Park 小南山公园

Xiaonanshan Mountain Park is located at the southern end of Nantou Peninsula, surrounded by Xinghai Boulevard, Yueliangwan Boulevard and Mawan Boulevard, with a planned land area of 1,014,889.52 square meters. Its altitude is 287 meters above sea level and the eastern part of the mountain is connected with Dananshan Mountain.

The existing vegetation of Xiaonanshan is mainly an artificially planted acacia forest. In addition, the mountain also has a small number of secondary bushes, such as witch hazel, camellia, and others.

Xiaonanshan is rich in historical and cultural resources. Xiaonanshan Beacon Tower (Chiwan Yandun) is located at the top of Xiaonanshan Mountain. From the end of the Yuan Dynasty and up to the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, the beacon tower had been the most important one in Dongguan to defend invasions. In 1983, it was listed as a municipal cultural relic protection unit. On the north side of Xiaonanshan, there is a Mazu temple, and cultural relics such as the tomb of the Southern Song Emperor Liu Yifu, the Temple of the Queen of Heaven, and the Left Port Battery of Chiwan are also clustered around the temple.
