More than 1,200 runners set off from the Qianhai Stone Park at 6:30 a.m. May 23, following a route lined with mangroves and coastal greenways while enjoying the sea breeze from the Qianhai Bay.
On May 5, APEC Secretariat executive director Eduardo Pedrosa led a delegation to visit Qianhai Block V. They experienced more than a dozen cutting -edge tech products from companies in Nanshan District and the Qianhai Cooperation Zone.
Recently, ten overseas guests visited Shenzhen as evaluators of Qianhai’s international consumer environment. Over a two-day, one-night visit, they followed five routes to test a range of payment methods across Qianhai, documenting strengths and weaknesses and offering practical recommendations to improve international payment services ahead of APEC 2026.
