Pre-announcement on the International Competiton for Urban Design of Qianhai Plots 8 and 10

　　根据深圳市前海深港现代服务业合作区管理局的工作计划，前海管理局将于近期开展前海八、十单元城市设计工作，现对本项目设计工作进行预公告。诚邀国际顶级设计单位与我司联系，获取相关信息并配合市场调研工作。

　　According to the work arrangements of Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone, urban design project of Qianhai Plots 8 and 10 will start soon. The international competition call of this project is hereby pre-announced. Design agencies around the world are sincerely invited to contact us for relevant information and cooperated with the market research.

　　一．项目概况

　　Ⅰ. Project Brief

　　1.项目地点：深圳市前海深港现代服务业合作区。

　　1. Location: Shenzhen Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone

　　2.主要工作：

　　1）前海八、十单元城市设计

　　咨询范围东至梦海大道，南至前湾三路，西至滨海公园，北至沿江高速公路所围合的区域，用地约80万平方米，规划总建筑面积138万平方米。协调研究范围包括滨海公园前湾段，用地面积约为25万平方米。（详见图1前海八、十单元用地区位图）

　　2）重点项目概念方案设计

　　重点项目包括中国改革开放博物馆及科技馆，两馆均位于八单元。

　　中国改革开放博物馆项目规模（暂定）：用地面积约3~5万平方米，建筑面积暂定6~10万平方米。

　　科技馆项目规模（暂定）：用地面积约3~5万平方米，建筑面积暂定6~10万平方米。

　　2. Work Scope

　　1) Urban design of Qianhai Plots 8 and 10

　　The urban design scope includes Qianhai Plots 8 and 10, whose boundary extends to Menghai Avenue in the east, Qianwan 3rd Road in the south, Binhai Park in the west, and Yanjiang Expressway in the north, covering a land area of approximate 800,000m2 and a total building floor area of 1,380,000m2. The coordinated research scope includes the Qianwan Section of Binhai Park, and covers a land area of around 250,000m2. (Please refer to Figure 1 “Location of Qianhai Plots 8 and 10”).

　　2) Conceptual scheme design for iconic buildings

　　Iconic buildings include China Reform & Opening-up Museum and Science & Technology Museum, which are both located in Plot 8.

　　China Reform and Opening-up Museum project scale (tentative): the land use area is around 30,000-50,000 m2, and the floor area is around 60,000-100,000m2.

　　Science and Technology Museum project scale (tentative): the land use area is around 30,000-50,000m2, and the floor area is 60,000-100,000m2.

　　3.咨询目标：

　　作为前海城市新中心的重点开发单元，本次竞赛旨在通过对前海和其它世界级大湾区的研究，提出有创意的、可实施的、面向未来的世界级文化科技服务区的设计策略。通过营造城市公共空间，重点建设博物馆、科技馆等标志性文化科技类建筑，打造兼具文化艺术、创新科技的智慧城市和低碳城市，虚拟创新空间与实体空间高度合一的未来先锋城市中心。

　　3. Objective of the Competition:

　　As key units of Qianhai new city center, the project aims to seek ideas and concepts of forward creative, feasible and future-oriented world class cultural, scientific and technological service area through the research on Qianhai and other world class bay areas. By creating urban public spaces, constructing iconic cultural, scientific and technological buildings, we aim to create a pioneering city center based on cultural art, innovation technology, smart city and low carbon city.

　　具有类似项目经验的国内外知名设计机构。

　　Domestic and foreign design institutions with experiences in similar projects.

　　时间安排：计划7月下旬至8月开展国际竞赛工作

　　Time: The international competition is scheduled to take place in late July to early August.
